Since the beginning of the Church, it has always been a temptation to neglect prayer for the sake of doing for stuff for the needs of the growing Church. However, this means to unplug ourselves from the source of all fruitful Christian activity. Take a look at your life. Have you safe guarded time for prayer daily? Do you need to change your daily routine to ensure you have time to spend conversing with our Lord and allowing him to refresh, guide and empower you?

We are children of the light. The Lord aims to break into the prison of our darkness and set us free into the light of a new day. There he asks us to give testimony to the power of the Light in our Lives. The Resurrection of the Lord

The readings for this Mass can be found at:

What a blessing it would be that when you die, people will respond by saying, “He died as he lived, by sacrificing himself for others.” On this Easter, let us recommit ourselves to sacrificing ourselves out of love for God and neighbor so that we open ourselves up to the Joy of the Risen Christ and be a vessel of that for the world.
